At eAfrica, we believe in the power of second chances and the potential for transformation. Founded in 2023 by Mvuleni Radebe, eAfrica is a South African nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with prior convictions and unemployed youth.
Our mission is to break the cycles of recidivism and unemployment by providing holistic support and creating opportunities for sustainable growth.
Our Flagship Program

Problem Statement
In South Africa, the cycle of recidivism and unemployment poses significant challenges to social and economic development. Individuals with prior convictions face systemic barriers — social stigma, limited access to employment, and a lack of support systems — which hinder successful reintegration.
Simultaneously, the country's youth unemployment rate remains alarmingly high, exacerbating inequality and increasing vulnerability to criminal activities.
